Dyslexia as a Multifactorial Disorder

This review of the scientific literature addresses studies dyslexia. Different views roles genetic and external factors in etiology pathogenesis this disorder are discussed. Results from neuropsychological neurophysiological evidencing impairments to particular parts higher mental functions dyslexia presnted. The main types cognitive deficit seen discussed: a number measures attention working memory, decreases information processing speed, insufficiency new skill automation processes. These data indicate that is multifactorial with multiple deficits.
